(as narrated by the martyr’s wife)

In one of the gatherings before our marriage we were chosing clothes to buy for the ceremony. He whispered to me softly: We are still Na Mehram. I will get back till you chose the clothes.
He left and returned after sometime with the tray of carrot juice and ice cream. He bought it for everyone except himself. He said he doesn’t wish to have it. When he was forced a lot from everyone, his mother said he is fasting. When I asked him why is he fasting today? He replied : So that there’s no hurdle in our work today and I can reach you safely.
